After months of diligent care, unwavering patience, and a touch of hope, we finally witnessed the delightful transformation of our front yard into a vibrant tapestry of bluebonnets!

A poem to commemorate the season (courtesy of AI):

In the shadow of a Victorian grace,

Where time dances slow, in a gentle embrace,

A tapestry blooms, vibrant and true,

A field of bluebonnets, kissed by the dew.

Months of care, with hands in the soil,

Tending the dreams, through labor and toil,

With patience like rivers, flowing so deep,

We nurtured the seeds, our promises to keep.

Sunlight poured softly, a warm golden glow,

As green shoots emerged from the earth below,

Each day was a whisper of hope in the air,

As we watched for the blossoms, a sight rare and fair.

Then came the moment, a magical sight,

When blue petals opened, a dance in the light,

A sea of blue waves, in the breeze they would sway,

Transforming our yard into a bright ballet.

Bees hummed their praises, butterflies twirled,

In this little haven, a new joy unfurled,

Gathering friends, in laughter and cheer,

Our bluebonnet field drew loved ones near.

Afternoons lingered, with stories we shared,

In the heart of our garden, where memories fared,

Each petal a promise, each bloom a delight,

A testament to patience, to nature's sweet might.

So here stands our home, with its Victorian charm,

Surrounded by blue, a soft, soothing balm,

In the tapestry woven, our hearts find their song,

A reminder that beauty can flourish, lifelong.

With blessings,

Cynthia & Peggy Liska
